"Media Voice" training for journalists and media psychologists

On November 20, another training was held in Tbilisi (at the University of Georgia) In frame of the project “Mediavoice: less self-censorship, more freedom”. Training was attended by entry-level journalists and media psychologists.


Sessions were devoted to issues of self-censorship and freedom of expression, the specifics of international law and human rights coverage, solidarity journalism, and accurate coverage of vulnerable groups.


"Media Voice" sessions are led by Tbilisi State University professors (Irine Kurdadze, Mariam Gersamia and Maya Toradze) and journalists (Zura Vardiashvili and Teona Tskhomelidze). After the training, the participants were given certificates.


The project "Media Voice: More Freedom, Less Self-censorship" is implemented with the support of Embassy of the Netherlands in Georgia.
